OUR STORY
Our story begins early in 2020 when we first confronted the Covid-19 Pandemic. Living overseas and losing someone dear, we were unable to travel and attend my grandma’s funeral (which I’m sure was the case for millions of others in the world). Instead of focussing on all the negative aspects of this situation, I decided to turn it into a positive!.... :)
I would light a candle regularly to remember my grandma and know that she was with me at that time. I then decided I wanted to learn how to make my own candles and wax melts using products which were environmentally safe!
Our name “The Candle Creator NZ” was suggested by my 11-year-old son and I loved it as it was not only simple and “to-the-point” but also included the reason I started making candles to begin with – my grandmother being with our Creator.
We would love to take you on our journey and share the warmth and peace our candles have brought to us, with you.
OUR PRODUCTS
The Candle Creator NZ uses natural plant based wax that is GMO free and contains no paraffin, no unnatural additives and is also vegan and kosher. Our wax, fragrance oils, wicks and packaging are sourced from organically certified suppliers and our packaging recyclable or reusable. Our aim is to be as sustainable as we possibly can by reducing, reusing and recycling as much of our waste.
